Protests against cuts in legal aid
Up to 100 people attended a protest on Friday in Coventry city centre against the Con-Dem cuts to legal aid. This was just one of many protests that took place around the country.
Campaigners from organisations such as Coventry Law Centre and the Citizens Advice Bureau gave out literature explaining what services are under threat and asked passers-by to sign a petition.
A march then took place, from the Godiva statue in Broadgate to the offices of Coventry Law Centre.
