Thousands on Saturday's Slutwalk demo

Thousands of people marched through central London on Saturday 22 September protesting against 'victim blaming' - rape victims being blamed for their attacks because of what they were wearing or how they were behaving.

Many of the protesters were very enthusiastic about the new Socialist Students campaign against sexism in comedy, 'Rape Is No Joke'. 30 people said they were interested in joining the Socialist Party and 70 copies of the Socialist were sold. Full report to follow.
