Video: Peter Taaffe opens Socialist Party congress session on world perspectives

The Socialist Party held its annual congress as the world crisis deepened.

Peter Taaffe, general secretary of the Socialist Party, opened the first discussion on the world economic, social and political crisis.

The congress took place in Clacton, 2-4 March 2013.

Following sessions included discussing the effect on Britain and how the fightback will develop in the trade unions and the youth.
